Lloris and Kane aiming to finish season on a high

Hugo Lloris and Harry Kane are both in agreement that the aim for the squad is to finish as high as we can.

The team has been in great form, putting together six wins on the trot and 14 unbeaten matches which has strengthened our position in the top four of the Premier League.

The run has included the crucial win at Stamford Bridge on April 1st which took us eight points clear of fifth-placed Chelsea and we followed that up with a hard-fought three points at Stoke on Saturday.

Currently we sit fourth, level on points but with a game in hand on Liverpool in third and four points adrift of United in second.

“We have the quality, the right spirit and the experience in the Premier League,”:said skipper Hugo, who became the 11th player to reach 200 appearances in the Premier League for the Club at Stoke.

“We show character and ambition because there is still second place to play for and we will try our best to finish as high as we can in the table.”

Kane added: “We’ve been in good form and it’s important we stay that way until the end of the season.
“The win at Chelsea was massive and that gave us a bit of a gap. Liverpool dropping points (at Everton on Saturday) helped us a bit as well but it’s up to us to keep going.

He went on to say: “We’ve a tough game against City coming up and we look forward to that and the rest of the matches. We have to carry on – nothing’s given to you in the Premier League so we have to keep winning.”
