Lloris and Toby set to sign new deals

The Mirror reports that Hugo Lloris and Toby Alderweireld are set to be the next Spurs stars to commit their futures to the club.

Mauricio Pochettino has already moved to secure the services of Harry Kane, Kyle Walker, Christian Eriksen, Danny Rose and Dele Alli on long-term deals while the likes of Tom Carroll, Harry Winks and Cameron Carter-Vickers have also been rewarded with extensions.

According to the report, Alderweireld will be the next Tottenham player to put pen to paper despite the fact he has three years to run on his existing deal.  The Belgian has been a revelation alongside his compatriot Jan Vertonghen, who is also rumoured to be close to committing his future to the club.

Levy had talks with Lloris before the European Championship in the summer and the offer of a contract extension is firmly in the pipeline.

These contract extensions are music to the years of Tottenham fans when for once we see our star players looking to be part of the future, rather than looking to move onto pastures new.
