Lo Celso is off to Morocco

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for Giovani Lo Celso since before we even played our Champions League final against Liverpool (BBC).

Despite our rumoured long standing interest, a move has failed to materialise for the Real Betis playmaker.
The La Liga side have confirmed that the former Paris-Saint German player has been included in their squad that has travelled to Morocco to take part in their pre-season friendly match against Raja Club Athletic.
With the transfer window closing on at 5pm BST for English clubs on Thursday, Spurs are certainly taking a potential deal down to the wire.
Spurs are also reported to have turned their attentions to Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes as a potential alternative for Lo Celso (Daily Mail).
With Christian Eriksen’s future in North London still uncertain given the fact that he will be out of contract next summer together with the fact that the transfer window for the likes of major European leagues such as Spain and Italy remaining open beyond the English window, Levy has to pull his finger out and make a deal happen.
