Recent Tottenham Hotspur signing Bryan Gil took to Instagram yesterday evening to reveal that he has arrived in London.
The 21-year-old posted a photo on his story from aboard a plane with the capital illuminated below him.
Gil is set to report for duty at Tottenham’s Hotspur Way training facility for the first time today where he will undergo tests ahead of linking up with the rest of Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad (The Athletic).
The winger has been on international duty with Spain at the Olympics, where they came up short against Brazil in the final after extra time. Gil was nearly the hero in the 88th minute only to see his effort crash off the crossbar while the score was level at 1-1.
Gil is expected to be considered for selection to face Manchester City in Sunday’s opening Premier League match of the new campaign in North London.

Gil could be a good option to have off the bench, despite his limited time at the club. His pace and trickery would offer something different for Nuno to call upon should we be chasing the match against the Premier League champions.
