It as a historic occasion for Tottenham yesterday as their new stadium witnessed its first ever Premier League match.
Crystal Palace were the first visitors to the venue and were beaten convincingly by the Lillywhites in front of a capacity crowd.
Ahead of the game, the club held an opening ceremony to mark the occasion which saw several performances including a wonderful rendition of ‘Oh when the Spurs’, by Wynne Evans.
Evans, who is a massive Spurs fan, also had the honour of performing the song during the closing ceremony at White Hart Lane a couple of years ago.
While it was an emotional moment for most Spurs fans, Spurs full-back Danny Rose didn’t seem to particularly enjoy the performance.
Several fans noticed Rose turn and stare at Evan during the ceremony, and social media certainly had a field day with the England defender’s expression.
Here’s how some people reacted to the moment on social media:

Imagine spending £1 billion on a new stadium to then have the man from the 'Go Compare' advert sing at the opening ceremony 😅
Danny Rose's reaction says everything you need to know 😂👏🏼 https://t.co/tVI4Za8ytY

There's a tenor out singing at the opening ceremony, Danny Rose looks utterly bemused. #thfc

When you spend way over budget on the stadium so you can only afford the Go Compare guy for the opening ceremony 🤣
