‘Looking forward’ – Ryan Mason reveals he is relishing a coaching return ahead of pre-season

Ryan Mason has taken to Instagram to send a message to his followers to reveal that he is looking forward to returning to coaching following the off-season.

Mason was appointed as interim Tottenham Hotspur head coach by chairman Daniel Levy in April after he decided to dismiss Jose Mourinho.

The Express claimed on Saturday that Mason has been placed on standby to take charge of the start of Tottenham’s pre-season training.

Members of the Tottenham squad who have not been involved in international duty will report back to Hotspur Way on July 5th to begin their preparations for next season.

Mason, along with Chris Powell and Nigel Gibbs, Michel Vorm and Ledley King have been been placed on standby.

Tottenham are still without a head coach despite being linked with a host of names over the past nine weeks including Mauricio Pochettino, Paulo Fonseca, Gennaro Gattuso, Erik ten Hag, Roberto Martinez and Nuno Espirito Santo.
