Some Tottenham fans on social media were left extremely impressed with Harvey White’s performance yesterday after the North Londoners ran out 5-0 winners against Marine.
As expected, Jose Mourinho rang the changes for the trip up to Merseyside, with White starting alongside Moussa Sissoko and Dele Alli in midfield.
It was the 18-year-old’s first competitive start for the senior side and he certainly showed why he is thought of highly at the club.
The midfielder showed his technical quality, having got on the ball and dictated play for the majority of the encounter.
Although the quality of the opposition left a lot to be desired, the teenager displayed his tremendous vision and passing range, as he often left the Marine players chasing shadows.
Some Spurs fans on social media admitted that they would like to see more of White, with many believing that he is destined to become a first-team regular in the future.

We have some really promising talents coming through in the form of Dennis Cirkin, Alfie Devine and Dane Scarlett but White showed yesterday why he is the one that most Tottenham fans are excited about. Apart from his obvious technical quality, I was also impressed by how tenacious the youngster was off the ball.
