Lord Sugar replies to Piers Morgan’s anti-Spurs tweet

Former Tottenham Hotspur chairman Lord Sugar has wasted no time in reacting to Piers Morgan’s tweet in which the Arsenal supporting shamed former editor of the Daily Mirror had hoped that Brighton would win last night.

Chris Hughton’s side were well drilled and set up to try and stifle Tottenham’s creativity and nearly managed to succeed in what would have been a crucial point in their battle against survival.

Thankfully for Tottenham, their constant pressure paid off in the 88th minute when Christian Eriksen drilled a left-footed shot into the bottom corner to send the Spurs fans into delirium and significantly boost their chances of finishing in the top four.

Sugar replied to Morgan’s tweet after Mauricio Pochettino’s side had sealed the win by suggesting that Arsenal may lose at Wolves this evening.

If Arsenal do suffer defeat, it will mean that Spurs will open up a four-point advantage over their rivals in the Premier League table.
