Lord Sugar takes to Twitter to react to Tottenham’s 7-2 defeat

Former Tottenham Hotspur chairman Lord Sugar has taken to Twitter to react to the club’s record European defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich.

All looked to be well after 30 minutes of action with Spurs having taken the lead through Heung-min Son and putting the German’s under pressure with the re-introduction of the pressing game which worked so well in our last season at White Hart Lane.

The Tottenham fans were certainly left humiliated after watching their players self destruct during the second half with Bayern putting on a clinic of finishing of the very highest level.

At 4-1, Sugar claimed that Bayern were making mugs of Tottenham and despite Harry Kane pulling a goal back from the penalty spot, it was all one-way traffic from that point.

The defeat means that Spurs have just one point from their opening two Champions League matches, making the two upcoming fixtures against Red Star Belgrade as must-win matches if there if any ambition to qualify for the next round.
