Lord Sugar takes to Twitter to wind up Piers Morgan over Arsenal

Former Tottenham Hotspur chairman Lord Sugar has taken to Twitter to mock Piers Morgan following Arsenal’s defeat at Everton earlier today.

Morgan, the disgraced former editor of the Daily Mirror is known for his outspoken support of Arsenal on social media along with his hatred of Spurs.

Tottenham recently threw away ten point advantage over their North London rivals which saw them overtake Mauricio Pochettino’s side in the Premier League table. However, a victory against Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening moved Spurs back to third with Arsenal bottling the opportunity to take the upper hand.

Phil Jagielka’s early goal proved to be enough to keep all three points on Merseyside to the delight of Spurs fans.

Sugar wasted no time in attempting to wind up Morgan by sending him a Tweet asking if Arsenal had played today.

Spurs now hold a one-point advantage over Arsenal with both sides having played 32 matches.

Here’s what Sugar had to say.
