Lord Sugar has wasted no time in attempting to wind up Piers Morgan after Tottenham Hotspur’s victory against Southampton.
The 3-1 win for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, coupled with Arsenal’s 2-2 draw at Old Trafford against Manchester United has meant that Spurs have overtaken their rivals in the Premier League.
Goals from Harry Kane, Lucas Moura and Heung-min Son have seen Spurs move up to third. Chelsea’s defeat at Wolves means that Spurs move up two places in the table.
Morgan, a self-confessed Arsenal fan had a £5,000 bet in aid of charity on the outcome of the North London derby with former Spurs chairman Sugar.
He wasted no time in taking to Twitter to send a Tweet to the shamed ex-editor of the Daily Mirror to remind him of the fact that Spurs are now above his side.
Despite Arsenal being unbeaten in twenty matches they find themselves below a side who made no signings in the summer and are currently homeless.
