Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has sent his support and congratulations to James Maddison after he was been named as the Premier League Player of the Month for August.
There is no doubt that Maddison is fully deserving of the award, given the scintillating start that he has made to his Tottenham career since arriving from Leicester City in the summer.
The attacking midfielder has not only become indispensable on the pitch but has also emerged as one of the leaders of the current Spurs side, having been appointed as vice-captain by Ange Postecoglou.

It looks like Maddison has already become quite a popular member of the Tottenham dressing room, with many of his teammates hailing the 26-year-old after he was voted the Player of the Month.
When the England international took to Instagram to thank the club, the staff, his teammates and the fans for the award, Son Heung-min responded with ‘What a player’.
Micky van de Ven commented with ‘Yes brother’ while both Manor Solomon and Emerson Royal stated that it was a well-deserved prize for the midfielder.
The praise for Maddsion did not end there as his England international teammate, Bellingham commented: ‘Love it Sheriff’ on his post.

One could tell that Maddison is well-liked by his club and international teammates, which is not surprising as he comes across as a fantastic person in his interviews. Not only has the 26-year-old has been an excellent on-pitch addition but his arrival has seemingly been great for the dressing room morale at Spurs.
