Lucas Moura comes up with new acronym to showcase his love for Spurs

Lucas Moura has once again shown his love for Spurs on social media this week, commenting on a recent Instagram post from the club.

The Brazillian made his 100th appearance for Spurs on Tuesday night in the 2-0 victory over West Ham (BBC).

Moura played the opening 72 minutes of the game before being replaced by January signing, Steven Bergwijn.

Tottenham posted a photo to celebrate Moura’s 100th appearance for the Lilywhites on Instagram which received a touching response from the 27-year-old.

Moura replied with: “ILYS= I Love You Spurs!”

The 27-year-old has made 28 appearances for Spurs in the Premier League this season and has scored four times in those games (Transfermarkt).

Spurs have returned to Premier League action having gained four points from their opening two games against Manchester United and West Ham. However, the club are still trailing four points behind Manchester United who sit in fifth place.

It is great to see when players who have been brought in to Spurs connect so well with the club. Lucas Moura is certainly a prime case of that. No matter what you think of him as a player, he shows love for the club and has provided us with some incredible moments.
