Tottenham Hotspur’s Luka Vuskovic has said something very interesting when pressed on what he plans on doing next season.
The centre-back has exceeded all expectations so far on loan at Hamburg, showing exactly why many view him as a generational talent.
In fact, it has been reported that Tottenham are considering tying down Vuskovic to a new contract as his stock continues to grow.
One can understand why the Lilywhites would be tempted to do that, as some of the biggest clubs in Europe are showing an interest in the Spurs youngster, and he has now opened up on his future plans.

Tottenham defender Luka Vuskovic makes admission about Hamburg stay next season
Vusovic has already confirmed that he will not be returning to Spurs in January and that he will complete his loan spell at HSV.
The 18-year-old has now been speaking to the German media about his plans for next season, and while Vuskovic did not offer any guarantees, he admitted that he would love to spend more years at Hamburg.
When asked if he would like to extend his loan spell at the Bundesliga club for one more season or perhaps return to the club at the end of his career, Vuskovic told Hamburger Abendblatt (as relayed by Sport Witness): “Unfortunately, I can’t promise that, as I would like to end my career at Hajduk Split.
“That’s my hometown club; that’s where it all started. But of course, I would love to play for HSV for several more years. As I mentioned, I really hope so. That would be a dream come true.”
Can Vuskovic be a first-team option for Spurs next season?
Vuskovic has been among the best centre-backs on show in the Bundesliga this term, and the teenager has demonstrated that he may be ready to make the next step.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham have been closely monitoring Vuskovic’s development this season and they are delighted with the way he has progressed.
All signs thus indicate that the Croat could be set for a first-team role at Spurs next season.
However, the Lilywhites may be considering sending him on loan to a Premier League club for one season, given that he may be unlikely to start over Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven.
