Amos was extremely unlucky to have picked up an injury in 2018 as it did appear as if Pochettino had a lot of faith in him. Unfortunately, last season did not go according to plan for the youngster but some rustiness was to be expected since he was coming back from the first major injury lay off in his career. I certainly would not put it beyond Amos to grow in confidence with more football under his belt and eventually even work his way back up to the Premier League.
