Luke Amos has taken to social media to thank everyone at Tottenham Hotspur after sealing a permanent transfer to Queens Park Rangers.
Amos was very highly thought of while coming through at Spurs and did not look to be too far away from breaking into the first-team a couple of years ago.
However, the midfielder was sidelined with an ACL injury for almost the entirety of the 2018-19 campaign.
Spurs loaned the youngster to QPR last season with the hope that he would be able to rebuild his career at Loftus Road.
While Amos has done that to an extent by getting plenty of game time last season, it is fair to say that he did not exactly set the Championship alight.
This is reflected in some QPR fans’ unenthusiastic reaction to news of the 23-year-old completing a permanent transfer to the club.
The Tottenham academy graduate took to Twitter to post the following message after sealing his exit:

Spurs Web Opinion
Amos was extremely unlucky to have picked up an injury in 2018 as it did appear as if Pochettino had a lot of faith in him. Unfortunately, last season did not go according to plan for the youngster but some rustiness was to be expected since he was coming back from the first major injury lay off in his career. I certainly would not put it beyond Amos to grow in confidence with more football under his belt and eventually even work his way back up to the Premier League.
