‘Mad’ – Some Spurs fans not impressed by what midfielder did on international duty

Overall, the international break seems to have worked out well for Tottenham Hotspur, with a number of the players getting minutes and performing well.

Eric Dier did miss England’s match against Denmark due to a hamstring problem but there is no indication as of yet that the 26-year-old’s injury is serious.

Despite the speculation over Harry Kane’s fitness this week, the striker completed all ninety minutes against Denmark and certainly seemed to be moving without any problems.

Footage from Hotspur Way on Thursday revealed that the England captain also trained with the rest of his teammates following his exertions on Wednesday.

However, there was one moment in Denmark’s win over England at Wembley that had some Spurs fans on social media extremely concerned.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who put in a typically disciplined performance at the base of Denmark’s midfield, made a poor challenge on Kane towards the end of the first half which earned him a yellow card and left the England captain in quite a bit of discomfort.

Thankfully for Tottenham, it was nothing more than a knock which Kane was able to run off but some fans on social media were not impressed with Hojbjerg for the challenge.
