The Tottenham squad are delighted to see Dominic Solanke get off the mark, with many of them backing the striker to continue banging in the goals on a regular basis for his new side.

Dominic Solanke silences his critics
Even though Solanke had only played two Premier League matches prior to Saturday’s game against Brentford, many were starting to question his performances.
A few pundits even suggested that Tottenham’s record signing was looking short of confidence (Ian Wright on Wrighty’s House podcast).
However, the centre-forward silenced his critics by opening his account in front of the home fans against the Bees, with the striker at the right place at the right time to tap home after James Maddison’s shot had been saved by the goalkeeper.
The Englishman’s all-round performance was also excellent as he held up the ball well, combined with his teammates and pressed tirelessly.

Spurs teammates rally around Solanke
Solanke took to Instagram after the game to express his delight at the result, with several of his Tottenham teammates congratulating him on his goal.
James Maddison commented: “First of a helllluvaaaa lot of goals for you this season my boy”, while Pedro Porro wrote: “Siiiiiiiiiii bro” along with the heart in eye emoji.
Guglielmo Vicario responded with “Let’s go brother” and Destiny Udogie wrote: “Big Domee.” Micky van de Ven commented with a bullseye emoji on Solanke’s post.
