‘Man is a machine’ – Graham Roberts on Spurs star’s display against Brighton

Graham Roberts has praised Harry Kane on Twitter for his performance in Tottenham’s win over Brighton in the FA Cup.

Tottenham secured a 3-1 win against the Seagulls on Saturday night to set up a fifth round tie at Middlesbrough.

England captain Kane opened the scoring at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium by curling an effort into the far corner of the net after just 13 minutes.

Spurs doubled their lead when Emerson Royal’s cross took a deflection off Solly March, which sent the ball looping over a helpless Robert Sanchez in the Brighton goal.

The visitors hit back just after the hour mark through an Yves Bissouma strike on the edge of the box, before Spurs hit straight back when Kane tapped in loose ball from close range.

The overall display left a good impression on Spurs legend Roberts, who took to social media to praise the performance of talisman Kane in the encounter.

Kane looks to have his confidence back and he showed that with his display against Brighton. He is showing more conviction with everything he does and it is all coming into place for the final half of the season, in terms of FA Cup progression and the race for the top four.
