According to Fichajes, Manchester United and Newcastle United are both plotting a move for Atalanta midfielder Ederson ahead of the January window.

It has been reported that Tottenham are looking to add to their midfield engine room in January, with Ederson thought to have emerged as a target for the North London side.
In fact, TBR Football revealed on Friday that Spurs sent scouts to watch the Brazilian in action in Atalanta’s Champions League clash against Arsenal on Friday.
The report claimed that the Lilywhites are not the only club looking at Ederson and revealed that the player is valued by the Serie A club at £50m.
Competition intensifies
Fichajes have now revealed that Tottenham are set to face competition from Man United and Newcastle for Ederson, while Barcelona are also keeping tabs on the player.
The report claims that the Red Devils explored a deal for the Atalanta star in the summer and are now expected to reignite their interest in the player, who they see as a long-term option in midfield.
Meanwhile, the Magpies are said to be prepared to move for Ederson amidst the speculation over the future of his compatriot, with Eddie How seeing the midfielder as someone who would be ‘perfect’ for his side.
