Man United star gives insight into training camp ahead of Spurs game

Manchester United take on Tottenham at Wembley this weekend in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first real test as interim boss.

The last time the two sides met in the League, Spurs ran away to 3-0 winners at Old Trafford, with Lucas Moura grabbing a brace.

This time around, United have jetted off to Dubai to prepare for a run of big Premier League games at a warm-weather training camp.

United face Spurs, Arsenal, and Liverpool in upcoming weeks, a testing time for the wanabe permanent manager.

Scott McTominay travelled as part of the Man United squad, and has given fans a little insight into what the team has been working on abroad.

McTominay explained that Solskjaer has been working on bonding, new formations, and how to play against the big sides during their camp.

It remains to be seen whether this will lead United to victory against Tottenham, a side that boasts an extremely impressive recent record, including a 1-0 win over Chelsea on Tuesday.

McTominay said (Metro): “It’s a good time for the squad to get away and have some really good bonding time.

“But we’ve also been able to work really hard on different formations and different ways we want to play against bigger teams in the games coming up.”
