Manager expects alleged Spurs centre-back target to transfer away this summer

Torino manager Ivan Juric believes reported Tottenham target Gleison Bremer will leave the club when the transfer window opens this summer.

Bremer, 25, has been a vital part of Torino’s back line this season, helping the Granata post up the fifth best defensive record in Serie A (Sky Sports).

The Brazilian’s displays have caused him to become a high-profile target this summer having captured the attention of a host of clubs regarding a potential transfer (CalcioMercato).

Spurs have been named as possible suitors (CalcioMercato) after the Telegraph revealed that Antonio Conte wants up to six new signings to improve the competitiveness of his squad.

While a move away from Torino continues to be the key topic of conversation for the club heading into the off-season, manager Juric admits he is resigned to losing him at the campaign’s conclusion.

Speaking to Sportmediaset, Juric said: “I think Bremer will go away.”

Bremer has made 33 appearances for Torino this term and has been a part of the defence which has conceded just 38 goals in 37 games (Transfermarkt).

Spurs Web Opinion

Bremer has been so consistent this season and it is impressive that he has helped Torino post a very solid defensive record this season.

With Spurs needing defensive acquisitions this summer, he would be an excellent profile to bring in but the main point will be Torino’s asking price, which will likely be pretty high after the season he has had.
