Manchester United next manager odds – Pochettino a long shot

Tottenham Hotspur will not be enjoying the barrage of links between their current manager Mauricio Pochettino and the vacant Man United position.

Jose Mourinho was sacked yesterday morning, and ever since that moment, the mainstream media has been throwing Pochettino’s name in the mix non-stop.

Even before the sacking, Poch had been linked with the job, despite signing a new five year deal in the summer.

United will likely hand someone the job on an interim basis before appointing a new permanent manager in the summer.

What this does mean is that all the rumours will probably start up again come the end of the season.

Despite the rumours, Pochettino is a 16/1 longshot to take over as the next permanent United boss.

Antonio Conte is also on 16/1, and even Arsene Wenger makes an appearance at 25/1.

The clear favourite is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with the likes of Laurent Blanc, Zinedine Zidane, and Michael Carrick also in the mix.
