An Italian publication has provided a big update on the future of Tottenham winger Manor Solomon, whose loan spell at Fiorentina is nearing its end.
Several senior players are expected to leave Tottenham this summer as the club looks to undertake a major rebuild ahead of Roberto De Zerbi’s first full season in charge.
One of the players the Lilywhites may hope to cash in on is Manor Solomon, who joined Fiorentina on loan in January, with the Serie A club having a £8.7m option to buy the player.
There has now been a big update on the 26-year-old’s future as the summer transfer window draws closer.

Tottenham star Manor Solomon is looking to convince Fiorentina in his final outing
Corriere dello Sport (as relayed by Sport Witness) has now claimed that Solomon will be ‘playing for redemption’ as the Viola host Atlanta in their final league game of the season on Friday.
It is explained that after the winger’s first month at Fiorentina, they were intent on securing the player permanently. However, his injuries since then have changed their stance, with the Italian club concerned about the Tottenham Hotspur man’s fitness record.
As things stand, Fiorentina are not inclined to secure the former Shakhtar Donetsk man in a permanent deal this summer.
However, Solomon is hoping to change that by ending the season with a strong showing against Atalanta, with a win on Friday potentially set to take Viola as high as 12th in the table.
Fiorentina could use Spurs’ stance on Solomon to their advantage
Corriere dello Sport say that Tottenham are not keen on keeping the Israeli international at the club beyond this summer.
Since Spurs signed Solomon on a free transfer, any fee they get for the player will go down into their books as a pure capital gain.
It is revealed that Fiorentina know that Tottenham do not need the winger, and they could take advantage of this to land a favourable deal.
