Manor Solomon’s agent has spoken to the media about the winger’s future and whether he could continue at Tottenham Hotspur.

The Israeli winger is a forgotten man at Spurs, having spent the last two seasons away on loan at various clubs.

Solomon spent the second half of last season on loan at Florence, and the Serie A club have a £8.7m option to buy the player this summer.

As the Serie A club make a decision on whether to activate that option, the 26-year-old’s agent has now addressed the speculation over his future.

Tottenham star Manor Solomon could return to Fiorentina despite his goodbye post

Some reports from Italy have claimed over recent weeks that Fiorentina may decide against signing Solomon due to the winger’s fitness issues.

Amid that speculation, the Spurs man took to social media to post a touching goodbye message to the Serie A club.

Solomon wrote on Instagram: “Ciao, when I arrived here a few months ago, we had one clear objective and we achieved it. We all know this great club should and deserves to be fighting for completely different goals. Thank you for your support and for making me feel at home in Florence from day one.”

Some say this as confirmation that the winger does not expect to return to Florence, but the Tottenham man’s agent has now refused to rule out a permanent switch to the Artemio Franchi Stadium.

The 26-year-old’s agent, Gilad Katzav, told 103 FM about his client’s post: “The post is definitely not a farewell post; he simply posted about the past year and said a big thank you.

“The interpretation was that he won’t be there; that’s not true. He has a contract with Tottenham; he finished his loan, and the transfer window is just getting started.”

Solomon agent wants to see winger stay at Spurs

The Tottenham winger faces an uncertain future, but it appears likely to be away from North London, with Solomon having not played for Spurs since November 2023.

However, his agent opened the door for the winger to remain at Hotspur Way, confessing that it would be his preferred outcome.

Katzav added: “There hasn’t been a conversation yet between Roberto De Zerbi and Manor. Everything is open. I want Manor Solomon to stay at Tottenham; that’s my wish. There’s Pini Zahavi, Shlomi Ben Ezra, and me.”
