‘Marathon not a sprint’ – Spurs star takes to Instagram soon after Arsenal win again

Dejan Kulusevski took to Instagram yesterday to remain positive despite Tottenham Hotspur’s disappointing defeat at Manchester United.

The 21-year-old retained his place in Antonio Conte’s side in what was likely to be a crucial clash in the battle for a top four finish in the Premier League.

Kulusevski posted a photo of himself in action at Old Trafford on his Instagram story shortly after north London rivals Arsenal had beaten Leicester City to move back into fourth place along with the caption ‘It’s a marathon not a sprint’.

Tottenham must dust themselves off following the 3-2 defeat at United when they travel to Brighton on Wednesday evening looking to make up lost ground on those above them in the fixture which was re-arranged after it was postponed in December due to the covid outbreak in the ranks of the north Londoners (Sky Sports).

Kulusevski has looked to have been a shrewd signing for Tottenham and was one of the brightest players at Old Trafford. It was surprising that Conte decided to bring off the Swede in the second half when he was having more of an impact on the game compared to Heung-min Son.
