Tottenham Hotspur are seemingly wasting no time in wrapping up deals after ensuring that they remain in the Premier League, with Marcos Senesi next on the list.
What Spurs did in the summer transfer window was going to be hugely dependent on whether the Lilywhites managed to stay up.
In the end, Tottenham secured their place in the top-flight by just two points, owing to their win at home against Everton on the final day of the season.
Roberto De Zerbi has already stressed the need for a rebuild this summer, and it appears that the North Londoners are keen to act.

Tottenham working on a four-year contract for Maros Senesi after verbal agreement
Several outlets have claimed over the last few weeks that Marcos has agreed to join Tottenham this summer as long as Roberto De Zerbi’s men remain in the Premier League.
Journalist Matteo Moretto has now explained that De Zerbi’s men are now working to agree a four-year deal with the Argentine defender after avoiding relegation.
He added that Tottenham are moving ahead of the centre-back’s other suitors, even though the likes of Liverpool have also expressed interest.
Moretto wrote on X: “Tottenham has verbally agreed on the signing of Marcos Senesi. There is a verbal agreement in progress between the parties, and the London club is already working on a four-year contract for the Argentine defender. The Spurs are getting ahead of several European giants; even Liverpool showed interest in recent weeks.”
Spurs may have one advantage in Senesi transfer race
Addressing the speculation over his future last month, Senesi insisted that he has not decided on his next club.
Fabrizio Romano has named Tottenham and Liverpool as the two leading contenders to land the Bournemouth star, who allegedly wants to remain in the Premier League.
While Senesi would likely be a back up at Anfield, he may feel that he has a better chance of playing every week at Spurs.
