Marcus Rashford reveals who he wants to win between Spurs and Liverpool

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has shared his view on who he would like to win the Champions League final between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool on Saturday evening.

Both sides meet at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid with Spurs looking to secure their first Champions League title.

Victory for Liverpool would see them lift the prestigious European trophy for the sixth time in their history compared to the three occasions on which Manchester United have been confirmed as the champions of Europe.

Rashford admitted that he would like to see Spurs triumph over United’s fierce rivals although did praise both sides for making it to the final.

Rashford said to talkSPORT earlier today: “I hope Tottenham win it,”

“I hope Tottenham win but both teams have done remarkably well, so whichever team wins it they deserve it.”

Mauricio Pochettino’s side booked their place in the final with a remarkable comeback against Ajax in the second leg of the semi final courtesy of a hat-trick from Lucas Moura while Liverpool had an equally impressive victory over Barcelona.

Spurs fans will certainly be hoping that Rashford is right in what would be a truly momentous moment in the history of our football club.
