BBC football pundit Mark Lawrenson has had his say on who he thinks will win the Premier League encounter between Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton on Saturday afternoon at the new Spurs stadium.
Following the embarrassing Carabao Cup defeat at League Two Colchester United on Tuesday evening, the Tottenham fans will be looking to the players to put in a spirited performance against the Saints.
After making ten changes from the side which lost 2-1 at Leicester City last weekend, Mauricio Pochettino will be expected to shuffle his pack once more.
Nothing less than a victory will appease the Spurs fans after only managing to win two of their opening six top flight fixtures this season.
Southampton currently find themselves in thirteenth place in the table, just a point behind their North London opponents.
Lawrenson has tipped Tottenham to come back fighting and rediscover their old form with a comfortable 3-0 win against Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side.
He told BBC Sport: “I think Tottenham will be back with a bang this week, because they are a long way off being in crisis.

“Mauricio Pochettinho did look somewhat disillusioned after last weekend’s defeat by Leicester, and it does appear something is going on behind the scenes.
“But that doesn’t stop the players from performing and they should be too strong for Southampton. A comfortable win would go a long way to solving Spurs’ problems.
“Lawro’s prediction: 3-0.”
