‘Mason doing the right thing’ – Some fans react to the Spurs team vs Leeds

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to Ryan Mason’s team selection for today’s match against Leeds United.

The age difference of 35 years and 327 days between head coach Marcelo Bielsa and Tottenham counterpart Mason is the second biggest in Premier League history, after Bobby Robson and Chris Coleman (37 years and 112 days).

Mason boasts an unbeaten Premier League record during his interim spell as head coach having previously beaten Southampton and Sheffield United and will certainly be aware his side have only won three of their past 13 Premier League away matches.

Spurs have scored in 11 successive league games, the longest current run in the competition. Only Manchester City have scored in more top-flight fixtures this season than the 28 by Spurs.

Mason has named an unchanged side from the match against Sheffield United with Tanguy Ndombele and Lucas Moura on the bench, while there is no place in the squad for Joe Rodon and Carlos Vinicius.
