“Massive draw, buzzing” – Some Spurs fans react to Champions League draw

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have been taking to Twitter to share their reaction to the Champions League draw.

The draw for the last sixteen has just been held at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland and will see Spurs take on Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.

The German outfit topped Group G winning three of their six matches, ahead of Lyon in second place.

Jose Mourinho’s side booked their place in the knockout stages by finishing behind Bayern Munich in second place in Group B.

Spurs, as group runners up will play the first leg in North London at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium which will be held on 18-19 or 25-26 February. The second leg will take place at the Red Bull Arena on 10-11 or 17-18 March.

Last season, Spurs were drawn against Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund in the last sixteen and made their way to the final for the first time in the club’s history before losing to Liverpool in Madrid.
