Football.London have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur overcome Peterborough United Under-21s 3-1 at Hotspur Way in their second behind-closed-doors friendly on Wednesday.
Antonio Conte made just one change from the eleven who started the 4-0 win over Motherwell last Friday, with youngster Charlie Sayers making way for Clement Lenglet.
Two of Tottenham’s goal scorers against the Scottish side, Bryan Gil and Matt Doherty, found the back of the net again yesterday.
It was Harvey White who opened the scoring for the North Londoners in 25 minutes as the midfielder turned the ball home from close range after Davinson Sanchez got a flick on Dejan Kulusevski’s inswinging corner kick.
Kulusevski was once again heavily involved in Tottenham’s second goal, with the Swede making a run down the right before squaring it to Gil to tap home.
Doherty, who netted a brace against Motherwell, made it three goals in two matches at the start of the second half after some interplay between Gil and Djed Spence.

The visitors did manage to pull a goal back, with David Ajiboye drilling the ball into the bottom corner beyond substitute goalkeeper Alfie Whiteman with 20 minutes left on the clock.
Yves Bissouma had the chance to make it four from the penalty spot after he was brought down in the box, but he missed his kick.

The fact that Conte used the same starting eleven as the game against Motherwell is understandable as the Italian will want the players to build up their match fitness ahead of the Premier League’s resumption.
I would not be surprised if the Spurs head coach decided to leave the likes of Perisic, Kane, Richarlison and Romero on the bench for the match against Brentford on Boxing Day.
