Mathys Tel has revealed what Harry Kane told him prior to his move from Bayern Munich to Tottenham and has also spoken about the first impression of his new Spurs teammates, including the ‘crazy’ technique of one midfielder.
Tel has found the going a little tough in his first few weeks at Spurs, which one would expect of a teenager who has just moved into a new league and new country mid-season.
The Frenchman has a solitary goal in Tottenham colours so far and is still getting used to the pace and intensity of the Premier League, but it seems like he has been able to settle in rather quickly off it.
The forward took part in TNT Sports’ 20 questions segment where he answered questions about his early days at the club and the players who he gets along with.

Interestingly, Mathys Tel has revealed that he sits next to forgotten left-back Sergio Reguilon and injury-prone striker Richarlison in the Tottenham dressing room.
One would assume that spots in the dressing room are assigned rather than chosen by the players, but it still seems like an interesting trio to sit around chatting on a matchday.
Tel did eventually add that he is excited to get to know “the French players like [Yves] Bissouma, Pape [Matar Sarr], Wilson, but especially Sonny.” Perhaps that would have been his little corner of the dressing room had Tel been allowed to choose his own seat.

One of the other questions Mathys Tel was asked concerned what Tottenham legend Harry Kane said about the club prior to his move from Bavaria in January.
Tel responded: “Harry said ‘you will enjoy it, the training ground is very, very, very good. If you need something just call me and I can help you.”
