Spurs to make decision on trialist

Tottenham Hotspur are set to make a decision on Mathew Ryan as the goalkeeper nears his week-long trial with the club.

The shot-stopper is currently playing his trade in the Austrlaian A-League with the Central Coast Mariners and has further trials lined up with West Brom and Wigan.

Spurs have got in first to run the rule over the 20-year-old who has earned rave reviews as the A-League’s best goalkeeper last season.

“Mat has done well this week at Spurs and the feedback he has received has been very positive,” His agent Warren Craig told AAP.

“His trial will finish tomorrow and then we will discuss with the club if they wish to take things further.”
