Mauricio Pochettino comments on Sissoko injury

Tottenham Hotspur qualified for their first ever Champions League semi final last night in sensational style against Manchester City.

Despite losing the game on the night, a late Fernando Llorente goal was enough to secure a third away goal, sending his side through to the next round.

Spurs will play Ajax for a chance to make the Champions League final, something that seemed lightyears away after three matches of the group stage this year.

It is hard to pick out negatives from the match last night, but unfortunately Moussa Sissoko was forced off injured with a groin problem late into the first half.

This forced Spurs to restructure and tweak their game plan as they were also without Eric Dier and Harry Winks on the bench.

Mauricio Pochettino was asked how Sissoko was in his post match press conference, with the manager revealing that Moussa may have hurt his groin.

Poch said (Football London): “I don’t know we need to check tomorrow. Maybe his groin but we will see.”
