Mauricio Pochettino has hinted that a return to Tottenham Hotspur is all about timing, keeping the door open for a potential comeback.
Earlier this week Pochettino left the door open for a return to Tottenham Hotspur. Just days ago, he mentioned having unfinished business at the club, eager to pick up where he left off.
There is no denying the bond between Pochettino and Spurs. During his tenure, he had Tottenham competing at the highest level, challenging for silverware and even guiding them to a Champions League final.
The connection between the Argentine and the club remains strong, and if Postecoglou’s struggles continue, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the board starts seriously considering a reunion.

Mauricio Pochettino keen on Tottenham return after six years away
With Postecoglou’s side struggling, many Tottenham Hotspur fans would welcome a return for former manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The Argentine himself appears open to the idea. Once more, in a more recent interview, the Pochettino told Sky Sports that he would love to come back to Spurs after six years away.
He said: “Look, when I left the club, I always remember one interview where I said I would like one day to come back to Tottenham, and that is of course.”
Pochettino then paused before continuing: “I am in the USA, I am not going to—no, I’m not going to talk about that, but what I said then, even after six years or five years, I still feel in my heart that, yes, I would like one day to come back. We see the timing, like Daniel said.”
Ange Postecoglou under pressure to deliver
Ange Postecoglou is certainly under pressure following Tottenham’s latest Premier League defeat to Fulham.
With Postecoglou’s position said to be hanging by a thread, tensions ran high at Craven Cottage. The Spurs boss was involved in a heated exchange with a supporter after the final whistle, needing to be restrained by Djed Spence and Mathys Tel.
However, it’s not all doom and gloom for the Australian, as reports suggest that winning the Europa League could secure Postecoglou’s place at Tottenham next season.
