Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino, is reportedly unhappy with the call-up of Giovani Lo Celso to the latest Argentina squad.
Lo Celso, who joined Spurs in the summer, was injured during his last match with the national side in a friendly and missed over a month’s worth of games for his club.
In fact, the Argentine is still yet to start a match for the Lilywhites this season, being reduced to a number of appearances from the bench.
It felt as if Pochettino was building the midfielder up to his first debut earlier in the season, just before he picked up that knock on duty for Argentina.
With Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli underperforming, the last thing Pochettino will want is another injury to Lo Celso.
Juan Foyth was also called up to the Argentina squad, despite not appearing for Spurs at all so far this season.
Dan Kilpatrick claims that Poch is not happy:
#thfc Poch admits he is not happy with Lo Celso being called up for Argentina after he was injured last time. "I'm not happy but I always back the decisions of the NT. I was a player & I know how it feels to play for your country. What can I do? Nothing."

Football London later quoted: “Being honest I am not happy, but I accept as I always defend the national team and back the decision of national team as I was a player and know what it feels to play. I can do nothing, only to show and describe my feelings.”
