Micah Richards makes an early prediction for Tottenham vs Man City

Micah Richards has made his prediction for the upcoming clash between Tottenham and Manchester City, and he thinks Spurs will find that his former side have too much for them.

Tottenham will be hoping to get back to winning ways at the weekend when they host Burnley at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Ange Postecoglou‘s men have now suffered four straight defeats and look likely to have missed out on a spot in the top four this season. In fact, if they’re not careful, they could end up dropping to sixth in the Premier League table, if Newcastle maintain their impressive form.

Man City will have too much for Spurs

However, there is one game that many Tottenham fans would probably rather they lose, and that is the fixture against Manchester City next Tuesday. That’s because, if Spurs were to take points from Pep Guardiola’s side, they could end up handing the title to fierce rivals Arsenal.

Either way, the Lilywhites are sure to be in for a tough time when City come calling next week. Speaking on the Rest is Football podcast, former Man City defender, Micah Richards, admitted he can’t see a way for Spurs to win.

He said: “If Spurs played Man City three weeks ago, I think the Man City fans would’ve been more nervous, but Spurs are giving away too many goals.

“If they try to play that high line against Man City, they’re going to absolutely batter them. They’re going to have to change a little something. It’s going to be an interesting game, but I just think Man City have got too much.”

Spurs Web Opinion

The one time we actually want to lose, and you just know Spurs are going to somehow pull a result out of the bag. I honestly cannot see Arsenal winning this title, and I’ll be distraught if it’s us who ends up giving it to them by beating City.
