Michael Owen on who will win between Tottenham and Huddersfield

Michael Owen has given his prediction ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s fixture against Huddersfield Town on Saturday lunchtime.

The Terriers have already suffered relegation from the Premier League having only managed to have won 3 of their 33 matches in the top flight this season.

Tottenham go into the match without star striker Harry Kane after the forward suffered significant lateral ligament injury to his left ankle during the 1-0 win against Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Huddersfield have lost nine of their last 10 away Premier League games (D1), with their only point in that time coming against fellow relegation strugglers Cardiff.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have won just one of their last six Premier League games (D1 L4) and will be looking to maintain their 100% start to life at their brand new stadium.

Owen has tipped Spurs to pick up all three points to continue their push for a top four finish.

He told BetVictor: “Spurs will take a narrow one-goal lead back to the Etihad in the second leg of the Champions League next week and who knows just how important Sergio Aguero’s early penalty miss will be, once the dust has settled.

“Two games, two wins and two clean sheets for Spurs since they moved into the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and I would be very surprised if relegated Huddersfield dented that proud record at the weekend.”
