Michael Owen predicts who will come out on top between Leicester and Spus

Former Liverpool and England striker Michael Owen has had his say on who he thinks will win the Premier League encounter between Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Foxes host Spurs in tomorrow’s late kick off which is being shown live on Sky Sports and Owen thinks that it will be Mauricio Pochettino’s side that comes away from the King Power Stadium with all three points.

December has historically been Harry Kane’s most prolific month for scoring goals in the Premier League with 19 in total. He will be hoping to add to his tally considering he has netted 11 times in seven games against Leicester in the league.

It won’t be an easy game the Spurs, Leicester City are unbeaten in their last six games in the Premier League (W2 D4), their longest run without defeat in the competition since May 2016.

Pochettino will be hoping that a victory will help his players go into Tuesday’s game against Barcelona full of confidence.

Owen told BetVictor: “Spurs have not had a PL draw in their last 19 games and I feel they will take maximum points at the King Power from an entertaining clash in the late kick-off on Saturday.

“Harry Kane has scored 13 times in his 11 previous games against the Foxes and the England skipper may again be the difference between the sides at the weekend.”
