Michael Owen has shared his score prediction ahead of Tottenham’s trip to Burnley on Sunday.
Spurs will be looking to produce a response against the Clarets after losing 2-1 to Slovenian minnows NS Mura on Thursday in the Europa Conference League.
Antonio Conte gave a host of players the chance to impress in a rotated Spurs line-up, but many failed to seize the opportunity to force their way into long-term consideration.
But Spurs will seek to put the shock defeat behind them when they travel to Turf Moor to face a Burnley side which has struggled for wins this term.
Sean Dyche’s men currently sit in the Premier League’s relegation zone with just one win to their name, but they have recently put together a four-match unbeaten run.
Former Liverpool and Newcastle United striker Owen believes the encounter in Lancashire will not be easy for Spurs, but feels Conte’s side will have just enough to edge out Burnley.
He told BetVictor: “The conundrum that is Tottenham Hotspur continued as they slumped to a, let’s face it, humiliating defeat to Mura midweek. Some of those players really need to look in the mirror, and who knows what Antonio Conte makes of it all.

“They simply need a reaction, but this is another tricky one. Burnley isn’t conceding many just now, but equally, they aren’t scoring a lot. If Spurs’ best players turn up here, they should win the match. I’m giving them another chance and think they will do just that by the smallest of margins.
“Tottenham 1, Burnley 0.”
