Michael Owen shares his prediction ahead of Wolves v Spurs

Former Liverpool and Manchester United forward Michael Owen has shared his match prediction ahead of Sunday’s match between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur.

It will be a case of sixth meeting seventh in the Premier League table at Molineux with both sides looking to strengthen their claim for a top four finish come the end of the campaign.

Wolves are currently in an impressive run of form in the top flight having avoided defeat in their last eleven outings.

Owen believes that it will be a case of honours even in the Black Country with both sides playing out a score draw.

He told BetVictor: “Two in-form sides go head-to-head at Molineux. Wolves are unbeaten in their last 11 league games while Spurs bounced back from their Old Trafford reverse to thrash Burnley at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the weekend.

“There is only a point between the sides in the table and I am finding it difficult to split the sides at the weekend.

“Game to finish in a scoring draw.”

Opinion

While Wolves were in Europa League action on Thursday night, Jose Mourinho decided not to risk some of his key players for the midweek trip to Bayern Munich; there should be no excuses about fatigue.

The middle of midfield remains a concern with Mourinho seemingly remaining loyal to Eric Dier, who was once again disappointing in Munich. The Winks and Sissoko pairing has also failed while Ndombele has struggled with injury.
