Michael Owen shares his Spurs vs Fulham prediction

Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has shared his prediction ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League match against Fulham tomorrow evening.

Jose Mourinho’s side head into the London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium without a win in their last four top flight matches having dropped from the top of the table at the start of the month to seventh.

Fulham have looked defensively more resilient having kept two clean sheets in their past four games in the league, but still only have two victories to their name.

Tottenham started brightly against Wolves in their last match having taken the lead within the first minute, but took their foot off the gas and did not register a shot on target after the 21st minute which was subsequently punished five minutes from time (Sky Sports).

Owen believes that Tottenham will return to winning ways against Scott Parker’s side.

He told BetVictor: “Despite a slight upturn in fortunes, Fulham go into this as huge outsiders. They may set up to frustrate Spurs here, but with Son and Kane going forward, the home side should have enough to take the points.

Jose Mourinho’s men have been professional all season, and I think they’ll set out to break the deadlock early. If that materialises, I could see them running out comfortable winners.

“Tottenham Hotspur v Fulham 2-0.”
