Tottenham Hotspur fans may have been slightly worried about the future of their manager Mauricio Pochettino this week, especially after the side slipped to three defeats in the last four games.
It is no longer certain whether Tottenham will qualify for the Champions League next season, and with Real Madrid looking likely to sack their manager, things looked ominous for Poch.
However, good news in the last day or so as Madrid re-appointed Zinedine Zidane as their manager until 2022.
This completely rules out Pochettino for the job, leaving just the Manchester United rumours as an issue for Spurs.
However, with United flying under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, it seems likely that he too will be given a full-time job come the end of the season.
All of these things point towards Pochettino remaining at Tottenham for at least another season, something Michael Owen was keen to point out on Twitter.
Some welcome news for Spurs fans after dropping out of the @premierleague title race.
Surely only a matter of time before Solskjaer gets named as United’s manager and with Zidane returning to Madrid, the position of their in-demand manager looks to be secure.
