Former midfielder Micky Hazard has sent a message of support to Tottenham Hotspur ahead of their match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Spurs will be looking to take all three points from the encounter at Molineux to continue their push for a top four finish in the Premier League.
Tottenham have won three of their four Premier League matches under new head coach José Mourinho (L1), as many as they did in their final 15 under Mauricio Pochettino (W3 D6 L6). They’ve scored three goals-per-game under Mourinho, compared to 1.3 in those final 15 under Pochettino.
With fourth placed Chelsea suffering a surprise 1-0 defeat at home to Bournemouth yesterday and Leicester City dropping two points in their 1-1 draw against Norwich, today represents a good opportunity for Spurs to try and close the gap.
However, Wolves are not to be underestimated. they are now unbeaten in their last 11 Premier League games (W5 D6).
Here’s what Hazard had to say.
3 points today would get us right back in there. Everyone’s falling away and losing games they shouldn’t so let’s not be one of them. Very tough game but one we can win if we’re at our best. Good Luck boys X
