Micky Hazard shares his Champions League draw thoughts on Twitter

Former midfielder Micky Hazard has taken to Twitter following the Champions League draw.

Spurs have been drawn against RB Leipzig in the last sixteen of the competition after managing to avoid the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Juventus.

Leipzig should certainly not be underestimated compared to some of the other big names in the draw. They currently top the Bundesliga table ahead of Bayern Munich, who comfortably beat Spurs twice during the group stage, home and away.

Hazard admitted that Spurs have been handed a tough draw but admits there will be some big casualties in the next round after the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City will square off against each other.

The 59-year-old feels confident that Spurs can book their place in the next round and will be looking to emulate last season’s exploits when they made it to the final for the first time in the club’s history.
