Micky Hazard takes to Twitter to offer honest assessment of Man Utd loss

Micky Hazard has taken to Twitter to offer a frank assessment of Tottenham Hotspur’s performance against Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho took his Spurs side to Old Trafford having won his first three matches in charge of the North London club, but performed well below the required levels against the former Premier League champions.

United took the lead after just six minutes when Marcus Rashford’s dipping shot saw Paulo Gazzaniga misjudge the bounce of the ball at his near post when he should have comfortably saved the effort.

Spurs drew level against the run of play six minutes before half time through a moment of pure genius by Dele Alli.

Frustratingly, three minutes into the second half, a moment of madness from Moussa Sissoko saw the Frenchman bring down Rashford inside the box and the England forward dusted himself off to score what proved to be the winning goal from the penalty spot.

Hazard admitted that Spurs did not deserve anything from the match and lacked creativity whilst also being sloppy in possession.

The former Spurs midfielder urged the players to dust themselves off and focus on Saturday’s match
