Thomas Frank has faced pressure from Tottenham Hotspur supporters in recent weeks and Micky van de Ven has revealed how the Spurs dressing room feel about their manager.
Tottenham Hotspur are a difficult team to manage, and Thomas Frank is already aware of this after making a fairly disappointing start at the club.
Even with Spurs recording a 2-0 victory over Brentford, they are still 10th in the Premier League table and have lost a third of their matches.
However, with a number of teams close on points, there is still hope that this season will bear fruit for Tottenham and this is all the more likely if their players believe in Frank’s methods.

Micky van de Ven says the Tottenham players back Thomas Frank
Questions have been raised as to how the Tottenham first-team squad feel about Frank and his style of play. Micky van de Ven was one particular name to be brought up after he refused to acknowledge his manager after a defeat to Chelsea in November.
Despite this, the 24-year-old is keen to set the record straight, insisting that he and his teammates are giving Frank their full support.
He told Football London: “Of course, when a team is not doing really well, everybody is going to be on the manager.
“He’s come into a new club and has had to adapt, Tottenham is different with all respect to Brentford. But we’re good with him and the team trusts in him.
“He knows what he wants us to do and we know what he wants. So we just do what we need to do and we back him every day.”
December is a very important month for Frank
Spurs have three more Premier League matches before the new year, and none of them will be easy. Nottingham Forest always provide a tough test at the City Ground, while Liverpool will not be easy to defeat, regardless of their form.
Tottenham will then end December with a trip to Selhurst Park, which is another venue where the team have seen limited success in recent years.
However, if Spurs get results in these matches, the Premier League table could start to look a lot more promising, and a huge weight would be lifted off Frank’s shoulders.
