Team News: Spurs defender will miss Fulham match; forward is back available

Ange Postecoglou has provided a Tottenham Hotspur team news update ahead of tomorrow evening’s match against Fulham at today’s press conference which was held at Hotspur Way.

Tottenham head into the fixture at Craven Cottage on the back of an impressive 4-0 demolition of Aston Villa last weekend which saw them close the gap on Unai Emery’s side in the race for a top four place to just two points.

The victory was slightly marred by Micky van de Ven‘s injury after the Dutchman had to be replaced early in the second half by January signing Radu Dragusin, who slotted in comfortably alongside vice-captain Cristian Romero.

Tottenham have a two-week break following the match in West London and are not back in action until they face relegation-threatened Luton Town at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on March 30th.

Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Tottenham first-team squad ahead of the trip to the Cottagers.

Speaking from Tottenham’s training ground, Postecoglou told the official site: “Richy has trained, so if he pulls up okay (in training today), he should be available for tomorrow.”

Manor Solomon and Fraser Forster also remain out through injury.
