Roman Pavlyuchenko is to hold showdown talks with Tottenham Hotspur once again after it was reported that AC Milan are interested.

Pavlyuchenko, who has just been on international duty with Russia is worried that he will miss out on a World Cup spot, due to a lack of first-team football.

The 27-year-old striker has played less than half an hour of Premier League football this season.

‘We’ll fly to London together,’ said his agent Oleg Artemov. ‘I think that now there will be tougher talks with representatives from Tottenham in order to get a definite answer.’

When asked about the AC Milan speculation, Artemov added: ‘This is early information,’

‘I’ve called friends in Italy and soon I will hear back whether such an exchange is really possible or just a rumour.

‘Of course, the option with Milan would be interesting for everyone: the player, the agent and the club who are selling.’

Should Spurs sell Pavlyuchenko?

  1. Yes if we get Huntelaar in exchange, but can’t really see that happening, let us have Becks for the rest of season?, that doesn’t work either would cause midfield chaos, cash deal? no, we will only go out and spend the transfer fee+ on resigning Darren Bent or paying over the odds for some Man C cast off

  2. Sell Pav and get Ruud to warm the bench for a couple of years as cover and play him in the Carling Cup.
If Keano is to get to Celtic then swap for Huntelaar and still get Ruud.
