Roman Pavlyuchenko is to hold showdown talks with Tottenham Hotspur once again after it was reported that AC Milan are interested.

Pavlyuchenko, who has just been on international duty with Russia is worried that he will miss out on a World Cup spot, due to a lack of first-team football.

The 27-year-old striker has played less than half an hour of Premier League football this season.

‘We’ll fly to London together,’ said his agent Oleg Artemov. ‘I think that now there will be tougher talks with representatives from Tottenham in order to get a definite answer.’

When asked about the AC Milan speculation, Artemov added: ‘This is early information,’

‘I’ve called friends in Italy and soon I will hear back whether such an exchange is really possible or just a rumour.

‘Of course, the option with Milan would be interesting for everyone: the player, the agent and the club who are selling.’

Should Spurs sell Pavlyuchenko?
