‘Miles off it’ – Jamie O’Hara makes Spurs and Chelsea stadium claim

Jamie O’Hara has claimed that Chelsea’s home ground Stamford Bridge is ‘miles off’ Tottenham’s new stadium.

The ex-Spurs midfielder was at the home of the Blues on Saturday afternoon as a pundit for their back and forth 3-2 win over Leeds United.

Before the match, O’Hara was walking around the Stamford Bridge pitch taking in the surroundings of one of the Premier League’s most iconic stadiums.

However, he could not help himself by making a comparison between it and Spurs’ recently-built Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

He said on his Instagram story (11/12/21): “Stamford Bridge got nothing on Spurs. Miles off it.”

Tottenham spent over £1 billion on the entire project of their new stadium, which has been open on the same grounds as White Hart Lane since April 2019.

The arena has been designed to be multi-purpose in that it can hold events away from football and as such, includes the world’s first dividing and retractable football pitch.
